Academic Resource Center
The Academic Resource Center (ARC) offers services to support you academically during your undergraduate career at Duke. Our mission is to empower you by creating a collaborative environment in which you explore and cultivate skills that optimize your learning and academic experiences.
Academic Advising Center
The Academic Advising Center (AAC) supports Duke University’s mission to provide students with a superior liberal arts education, attending to their intellectual growth and to their development as adults committed to high ethical standards and full participation as leaders in their communities. The AAC supports this mission by encouraging students to utilize a broad array of advising resources that can help them identify and pursue their academic interests and personal goals.
DukeLIFE
The mission of DukeLIFE is to enhance the academic experiences of undergraduates from first-generation and lower-income backgrounds. DukeLIFE programming and initiatives provide students with holistic support to promote their full participation in the university’s intellectual communities. The office also fosters socio-economic inclusion at Duke by coordinating resources with campus partners.
Peer Success Leaders
Peer Success Leaders are student academic leaders who work in tandem with the Academic Guides Program. They collaborate with several student support offices to create programming that supports First-Year students in discovering all that Duke offers. Peer Success Leaders can share how they formed meaningful mentoring relationships with faculty, provide tips for online class registration, and help you learn to distinguish what is merely popular from what is individually meaningful to you.
