This resource is meant to help you figure out how to navigate the unspoken norms of Duke University. Like any new place, there are a lot of unexplained rules that can be confusing at first. We hope that by exploring this guide, you will start to get a more comprehensive sense of life at Duke and how to find the resources you need to thrive! 

For support with the transition to college, we recommend looking through the “Embrace the Unfamiliar” page. In the “Prepare for Class” page, you can explore tips and tricks to help you with your academic course load! If you are not sure where to even start, the “Discover your Interests” page may provide guidance as you get to know yourself and navigate major declaration. Throughout the site you will find embedded worksheet activities and resources relevant to subheading topics. These worksheets can also be found in the “Activities & Resources” section.
